A prize for an unpublished piece of historical fiction of a maximum 2,000 words and a prize for an unpublished piece of historical non-fiction of a maximum 2,000 words. Presented by the NSW Writers' Centre and the Lane Cove Historical Society. The prize was inaugurated in 2006.
