This annual award recognises the best writing on policy and politics in Australia. The prize was named in memory of John Button.

Notes

  • The John Button Prize was created in memory of John Button, a former Federal Senator and minister. The prize, first awarded in 2009, is offered to 'the best piece of non-fiction writing on politics or public policy in the previous 12 months'.
