History

The Neville Bonner Award for Indigenous Education celebrate individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions to enhancing student learning outcomes and equipping students to be agile and creative citizens.

Notes

  • Named for the first Indigenous Member of Parliament, the Neville Bonner Award for Indigenous Education is awarded annually by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) as one of their prestigious Awards for Teaching Excellence. Each award has a value of $25 000 and is presented in recognition of a significant and sustained contribution to excellence in Indigenous teaching and learning.
