BiographyHistory

Based in Melbourne, Burberry Productions is an independent television and theatre production company which produces programs for both the Australian and international markets. In addition it specialises in development and financing, as well as providing production services to other production companies, distributors and broadcasters. Burberry has produced over 160 hours of television across a number of genres including children's series, mini-series, sketch comedy, prime-time drama and animation.

Burberry's five in-house productions to 2010 are: Last Man Standing, Fergus McPhail, Short Cuts, The Farm and Eugenie Sandler. The company has also co-produced such series as The Wayne Manifesto, Eagle and Evans, Sleepover Club, Maddigan's Quest, Animalia and Rap, Race and Equality.

Burberry's live theatre productions have included Mum's the Word (1998), produced in association with Artist Services. In 2004, in association with John Thorne and Russell Fletcher, Burberry produced the improvised musical show, Spontaneous Broadway, and in 2006 (and again in 2008), the company staged Mum's the Word 2: Teenagers! (in association with Dainty Consolidated Entertainment).
