1 y separately published work icon A Crooked Stile Carol Jenkins , Waratah : Puncher and Wattmann , 2019 17213378 2019 selected work poetry

'A Crooked Stile takes a slantwise leap over the everyday, a fencer’s delight in parry and parody. Starting out from an almost out-of-body consideration of being, Jenkins blithely waltzes around the globe, your better-than-Baedeker witty tour guide. At home, she wades into symbolic systems, taking on water, punctuation. zero, family and mortality before briefly tilting her dunce’s cap at the sun, as it sinks into the west.'

— Review of Getting By Not Fitting In Les Wicks , 2016 selected work poetry
'Getting By Not Fitting In is Les Wick’s thirteenth book. As someone who has arrived at poetry latish, thirteen seems a lot of books. What would one have left to say? Plenty it seems. I came to Getting By Not Fitting In, after reading Sea of Heartbreak (Unexpected Resilience)(Puncher & Wattmann, —a good place for readers new to Wick’s work start. Getting By Not Fitting In (GBNFI) possesses the same Wickensian kaleidoscopic concision, wit and dexterity as Sea of Heartbreak. There is something Ginsberg-esque about Wick’s range and anti-hero stance, his keen eye for the cultural milieu, we have the Golden Age of Sydney Pub Music instead of The Beats, but without Ginsberg’s grandiosity and neurotica.' 1 y separately published work icon Select Episodes from the Mr Farmhand Series Carol Jenkins , Ingrid Periz (illustrator), Glebe : Puncher and Wattmann , 2016 11627961 2016 single work prose humour

'Follow the adventures of Mr Farmhand as he negotiates a rural existence in New Jersey, staving off the attentions of Mavis Eggwhistle, staying one step ahead of Frank Winkler and steering clear of Farmer Bart Brassica's pitchfork. His is a world full of unexpected dangers, from the odd satirical skirmish to the surprise philosophical poke in the eye, where gossip takes centre stage and life is lived on the margins. It's a tough gig, but somebody has to do it.' (Publication Summary)
