'The KOALA Hall of Fame was introduced in 2001 to recognise books that had never won KOALA but had demonstrated enduring popularity with young readers in New South Wales by being shortlisted 5 times in 10 years.
'... once a title has been shortlisted 5 times it is added to the Hall of Fame and no longer eligible to be shortlisted.'
