BiographyHistory

Bethany Doherty is a young Australian writer, born and raised in the outskirts of Melbourne – the very long outer-skirts of Melbourne – where she would spend her youth exploring the endless acres of bushland behind her house.

From a young age she began to create books - they made little sense but began to develop her need to be an author.

Bethany loves nothing more than to relax with a good book. She is inspired by the novels of Neil Gaiman, J. K. Rowling, Daphne du Maurier, Terry Pratchett and Eva Ibbotson.

Now, having studied Professional Writing and Editing at Box Hill Institute and recently returned from work in Europe, Bethany has released her first two novels in The Wyrdians series.
