AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Teaote decides to build a sea wall to protect her village from huge waves. Her neighbours build their walls too but she is very proud of hers and thinks it is the best. One day the waves are very, very high and her wall stands but is damaged a bit. So she and Kairo, her friend, help each other to build up their walls to protect both their houses. This is a book about hope, determination and the people that need a global solution. This book is all about spreading awareness of the of Kiribati without using big words like climate change or environmental awareness. Let's talk big waves and hot suns. Let's talk about a country that so many people don't even know exists.'
