Emma Middleton is an Australian writer and illustrator.

Formerly a student of the Australian Ballet School and then professional ballerina, she danced for the Vienna Ballet during her fifteen-year career in dance, before returning to Australia to work with the Brighton Dance Academy.

As well as writing her own books to be illustrated by others, she has also collaborated as an illustrator with other authors, such as Aleesah Darlison, with whom she produced The Dream Bird.
