BiographyHistory

'Justine Shih Pearson is a designer, creative producer, and scholar of contemporary performance and dance, and an Honorary Associate in the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, University of Sydney. She writes regularly about intercultural and interdisciplinary practices in the arts, cosmopolitanism and the embodiment of cultural belonging, spatial design and the city. She is the author of Choreographing the Airport: Field Notes from the Transit Spaces of Global Mobility (Palgrave 2017). As a designer, her creative work has been presented in Australia, the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and in Asia. She is Chair of the artist-run organization Readymade Works.'
