Poet and spoken word artist.

A Muslim author of Eritrean origins, Manal Younus has been active in grassroots community organising (including writing and performance workshops), Australian slam poetry, and public speaking. She has worked with Act Now Theatre, a forum theatre company, to help high-school students develop practical skills for responding to racism through drama.

She published her first poetry collection in 2015.
