'Alec Patric and Ryan O'Neill have been sharing their writing with each other for years, reading and commenting on each other's works. It is a writing partnership working for both of them. Alec won the Miles Franklin Literary Award in 2016 for Black Rock White City, and Ryan won the Prime Minister's Literary Award in 2017 for Their Brilliant Careers.
