BiographyHistory

Director.

Norwegian-born Lahooti is the child of parents who fled the Iranian revolution in 1979. when he was sixteen, he and his family settled in Perth. In 2014, he undertook Screenwest’s Feature Navigator directors’ program. He is a graduate of the film course at Perth Central TAFE, and of the AFTRS (first in 2009 and again, with a Master of Screen Arts - Directing, in 2012).

His debut feature film began production in early 2019 in Western Australia.
