AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'It's his birthday. It's George's birthday. Well it was. Yesterday was his birthday. 42. He's 42 years old. And god does he feel it.

'His wife keeps him young though, Peggy does. And the girls. He's got two little girls. Little rat bags more like. But he loves them. Can't imagine a life without them.

'George seems to have it all. A simple life for a simple man. And nothing will change that. But tonight, on his birthday, he will come face to face with the brutal hand of fate and confront an unknown that we all fear, death.'

  • My Wife Peggy was first staged as part of Premiere at Gasworks Arts Park, a program to assist independent Melbourne based artists and creatives to stage original productions.

Production Details

  • Set to be presented at Old 505 Theatre from 18-30 August 2020.

    Lighting Designer: Claire Springett.

    Cast: Dallas Palmer.

    Production cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
