BiographyHistory

Sydney-based journalist Paul Raffaele has been a feature writer for Smithsonian magazine, and has published non-fiction works including Among the Cannibals: Adventures on the Trail of Man's Darkest Ritual (2009) and Among the Great Apes: Adventures on the Trail of Our Closest Relatives (2011).

His adventure novel Rajah Hawke, set in Borneo in the early nineteenth century, was shortlisted for the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize (unpublished manuscript section).
