This column explores the ways in which reading board books aloud to children can be used to introduce babies and toddlers to the basic building blocks of music. The column focuses on Mem Fox and Judy Horacek's Where Is the Green Sheep? for the concepts of pitch and dynamics, and feature's Nick Bland's The Very Noisy Bear to discuss tonal colour.
