BiographyHistory

'Timothy Tate is a composer and performer whose multifaceted output spans from music for soloists to large ensembles. In his experimental work, he modifies obsolete recording technologies such as magnetic tape, shellac records and primitive sampling devices, while his handbuilt/circuit-bent electronics often result in immersive live performances, installation and site-specific work' (Cordite 102)
