    Professor Robert Dixon

    Professor Robert Dixon is a past president of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature, and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities. His books, The Course of Empire (1986), Writing the Colonial Adventure (1995), and Prosthetic Gods (2001), examine Australia's colonial culture from the late eighteenth to the mid-twentieth century. Another of Dixon's research interests is the work of Australian photographer, explorer and film-maker, Frank Hurley.

    Robert Thomson

    Robert Thomson is a researcher with AustLit. His current research focuses on literary responses to the first World War, both during and after the conflict.
