An anthology (or 'playhouse') television series, each episode a self-contained story, some of which then formed the basis of pitches for new series.

Series one ran to six episodes in 1978.

Series two was limited to three episodes, which were broadcast in 1981.

In 1980, a seven-episode series, Trial by Marriage was spun off from this television play: the series took place in the early days of the marriage.
