'Law and Literature was founded in 1988 as the journal of the Law and Literature movement. It has since become the leading interdisciplinary law journal directed to law and the arts, with a specific focus on critical theory and literary expression in its diverse media and forms. Recent and upcoming issues include articles on intellectual property, law and film, Norse sagas, Nelson Mandela, Shakespeare, closing statements, Bartleby, Sacher Masoch, theatrocracy, Tiberius, Don Quixote, narrative forms and much more. Contributions to the journal have come from Stanley Fish, Cornelia Vismann, Laurent de Sutter, Bernhard Schlink, Julie Stone Peters, Barton Beebe, Erica Weitzman, Anselm Haverkamp, Maria Aristodemou, James Boyd White, Orit Kamir, and Stephanie Lysyk, and include translations of continental and Latin American literary and legal scholars.'
