Contemporary advertisements indicate that they were planning on adapting five novels over thirteen weeks per novel; the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) has records for four adaptations.

Only The Beckoning Shore is listed here: the other novels for which the NFSA has records (Strange Honeymoon, The Draycotts, and Echo My Tears) are not by Australian authors.
