Location:

  • '"The Drover's Wife" was filmed at Hermidale, a little place about 40 miles from Nyngan, on the road to Bourke, N.S.W. The hut used in the film was an original drover's hut, built of stringybark and papered on the inside with newspapers of the late 1880s, but you couldn't see the date in the documentary.'
