Produced from the ABC's Melbourne studios, Chu Chin Chow was a radio adaptation of the long-running and highly successful stage play by Oscar Asche.

Notes

  • No information has been traced on who adapted this version to radio. This version appears to be entirely distinct from the 1933 BBC radio version, which was adapted for radio by British writer Henrik Ege.

    Conductor: W.D. James.

    Cast members included Madame Saffo Arnav (Marjanah), Alfred Frith (Kasim Baba), F.D. Clewlow (Abu Hassan, the Sheikh of Robbers), Hugh Huxham (Ali Baba), Tom Downic (Omar), Winifred Mitchell (Zahratal-Kubab), and Iza Crossley (Alcolom).
