'Australian writer Peter Carey, one of the only two writers who won the Booker Prize for two times, has so far published eleven novels, two collections of short stories and five non-fiction works. He is good at digging new ideas from history, eulogizing independent national spirit through molding the images of characters image mold, and at the same time interpreting the living conditions of modern people and the meaning of life by historical figures and events.
