BiographyHistory

James Dickerson had enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) on 19 October 1914, and joined the 10th Light Horse Regiment in December before embarking from Fremantle in February 1915 to the Port of Suez. After sustaining injuries during battle at 'The Nek' in Gallipoli, he later died during transportation on the HMHS Devanha on 30 August 1915.
