In this unit students will have the opportunity to further develop a major piece of writing in a chosen genre - poetry, film, short story, personal narrative or a stage play. It is designed for students who have a foundation in creative writing units, who ideally have begun to develop a creative writing project, and who want to further develop and complete a major work. Students will present their drafted work for professional critique, and will be able to develop advanced skills in applying such feedback for producing a final draft. The unit will require students to undertake a high level of independent work.
