In this unit students will further develop a major piece of writing in a chosen genre - poetry, film, short story, personal narrative or stage - to a standard that is ready for publication, staging or screening. It is designed for students with advanced prior knowledge in creative writing units, who are in an advanced stage of producing a creative writing project, and who wants to complete a major piece of work. Students will present their drafted work for professional critique, and will apply their advanced skills in incorporating such feedback for producing a final draft. The unit will require students to undertake a high level of independent work.
