BiographyHistory

Emilio Gabbrielli was awarded a degree in Chemical Engineering at the university of Bologna and worked as an engineer in Australia. His short story La Voglia di Fare [The Will to Act] was published by the Instituto di Studi Transculturali, Milan, in 1979. In his writing he has expressed the experience of the meeting and confrontation of diverse cultures. In 1982 his short story, Ospizio[Hospice], won first prize in the Premio Letterario Cantarella, Sydney and in 1983 his story, La Sfortunata Storia di Uno Scrittore Nato [The Unlucky Story of a Born Writer], also won first prize in the CO AS IT Literary Competition.
