BiographyHistory

Eli Rabuntja was an Arrernte Elder and the Foundation President of the Yipirinya School Council. He began his work with the Hermannsburg missionary Pastor FW Albrecht in Hermannsburg and later followed Pastor Albrecht into Alice Springs where the majority of his ministry took place. Rubuntja, together with Pastor Davey Inkamala, was instrumental in establishing and maintaining the ministry to the Aboriginal communities to the North and North/East of Alice Springs. He was also involved in the establishment of the Tangentjera Council which oversees the maintenance of the Alice Springs Town Camps.
