BiographyHistory

Maggie Prewett illustrator, and lives in Broome is a descendant of the Ngarluma people of the Pilbara region of Western Australia. "She studied Design and Illustration at the Perth Technical College. Her paintings and ink drawings are held in collections throughout Australia, and she has participated in a number of group exhibitions". Maggie's illustrations can be seen in the books Old Frangipani Tree at Flying Fish Point and The Grumpy Lighthouse Keeper. (Source: Magabala Books 2012)
