BiographyHistory

'In the late 1990's, Samantha Saunders was the first Manager of the Indigenous Branch at the Australian Film Commission [AFC] in Sydney... [She] was raised on an Aboriginal mission, Cherbourg in a remote area of Queensland.' In 2004 with AFC support, Saunders made her first short film Turn Around (q.v.).
