W.H. Chong is a graphic designer and has been Text Publishing's in-house designer.

Chong has won and been shortlisted for multiple Australian Publisher's Association Book Design Awards including Best Designed Series (Bad Debts, 2019, shortlisted), Best Designed Non-Fiction Book (Brett Whiteley, 2017, shortlisted), Best Designed Literary Fiction Book (2017, 2016, 2014), and Best Designed Commercial Fiction Book (The Rosie Project, 2014, winner).
