A scriptwriter and filmmaker, Steve Baker's short film An Imaginary Life won Tropfest 2007. Another film, Dog With Electric Collar, won an AFI Award for Best Short Animation in 2008.

'What happens to an imaginary friend once they're forgotten? Where do they go? How do they live? And can their lives ever have any meaning again? For one such imaginary friend, life has been empty.
