BiographyHistory

David Williams has been a teacher at Diamond Valley College, Victoria. He lost his home in Kinglake in the 2009 Black Saturday bush fires.

As writer in residence, Neil Grant encourages the traumatized Australian students to make contact with their counterparts in an international school in Kabul. Their contact leads to a great deal of writing, including fictional pieces in which they experience vicariously the lives of others.
