BiographyHistory

Makiz Ansari grew up and was educated in Australia and in 2003 was awarded her bachelor's degree in Political Economy and Government and International Studies from Sydney University. She has been an Education Coordinator at Affinity Intercultural Foundation and in 2010 moved to Affinity's Islamic Sciences and Research Academy of Australia.

Her experience was an influence on the short play Shafana and Aunt Sarrinah: Soft Revolution.
