BiographyHistory

Alwyn Lee was educated in Melbourne. He worked for the Melbourne Herald before leaving for America via Mexico at the outbreak of World War II. One of the few people to interview Trotsky shortly before his assassination, Lee joined the staff of Time magazine where he worked as a chief book reviewer.
