BiographyHistory

Peter McNamara - with Mariann McNamara - founded Aphelion Publications. He also worked as an Adelaide FM radio presenter and served on the board of the South Australian Writers' Centre. McNamara collapsed with a brain tumour in February 2002 and died in June 2004. The McNamara Award was established in his honor in 2002 by Altair Publishing
