Eve Brozel was the youngest of three sisters. Her father was Lithuanian and her mother English. One sister, Nada, came to live in Australia, but Eve and her other sister, Peta, went to live in Africa. Eve was there for nearly twenty years, living in South, East and West Africa. She later lived for two years in California, and came to Australia in November 1964 with her husband and three sons, living at Tennyson, SA. Fifteen years later they were divorced.

Eve wrote throughout her life. She wrote for a TV program, Anything Can Happen, on Channel 7 in the early 1970s, and wrote some of the opening numbers for the Channel 7 Easter Appeals. She also wrote for Ernie Sigley's program. In her semi-retirement Eve took up a small property at Springton in the Adelaide Hills, and here she was able to resume the keen interest in horses which she had earlier had in England. She also bred mohair goats as a sideline. She died at her home.
