BiographyHistory

As well as children's books, Ronald Rose wrote a number of non-fiction books, including Living Magic (1956), South Seas Magic (1959), People in the Sun (1961), Papua and New Guinea (1965), Northern Territory (1966), Canberra (1967), Australia's Island Territories (1967), Cattle Industry (1968) (written as Kriss Hume), and This Peculiar Colony (1981). People in the Sun was produced with his wife, Lyndon Rose (q.v.). He contributed to a number of Australian journals, and wrote articles about angling under the pseudonym The Gaffer.
