BiographyHistory

Carol Mara gained an MA in Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney in 1993. She has worked as a high school teacher and has also taught creative writing courses. Mara has won a number of literary prizes including the inaugural Marjorie Barnard Short Story Award in 1991 and the1992 U.T.S. Union Writing Prize for Prose.
