BiographyHistory

Steve Kilbey was the lead singer-songwriter and bass guitarist for The Church, an Australian psychedelic rock band. Kilbey was a music producer, poet and painter. The Church went on to international fame in 1988 when the song Under the Milky Way from the album Starfish , Kilbey had co-written the song with Karin Jansson of the bands Pink champagne and Curious Yellow.
