BiographyHistory

Christopher Hassall was an Englishman who visited in Australia in 1933. He was the author of hundreds of books of poetry, which were mostly published in England. His book of verse, Poems of Two Years, has an Australian theme.

Hassall died in St Batholomew's Hospital, Rochester, and is buried in St Nicholas's Church, Thanington-Without, Kent [source: Edward Reid-Smith].
