BiographyHistory

Anne Gracie is a multiple award-winning romance writer based in Melbourne, Australia. She is a former president of Romance Writers of Australia.

The daughter of two teachers, Anne Gracie attended six different schools in twelve years, before completing the last four years of high school at the same school. As a child, she and her family travelled across Australia, Europe, and Asia: she lived in Scotland, Malaysia, and Greece at various times. After university, she worked as a teacher of English and a school counsellor before returning to her childhood interest in writing.

Gracie's novels have won awards in Australia and the United States: in 2016, she was voted Favourite Australian Romance Author in the Australian Romance Readers Awards, a position for which she has been a finalist every year since 2012.
