BiographyHistory

Sheila Gordon describes herself as 'a farmer's wife living in the country'. Growing up in Unley in Adelaide, she was educated at Walford CEGGS. In 1954 she married grazier David Gordon and since then has lived at Mt Crawford. Sheila was a foundation member of the Williamstown Women Writers, now renamed 'Barossa Word Weavers', and as well at the work listed here she has written (with David Manser) The History of Mt Crawford, which was not published but was widely distributed in photocopied form.
