Established in 1944, USC Press is one of the oldest publishing houses in the US South and among the most respected in the US Southeast. With more than 1,500 published books to its credit, 800 in print, and 50 new books published each year, the Press is essential in enhancing the scholarly reputation and worldwide visibility of the University of South Carolina.
