BiographyHistory

Since its first book appeared in 1937, the Press has published and distributed more than 3000 titles. Today [2006], it publishes a broad range of general interest (biography, fiction, natural history, poetry, photography, fishing, food, travel, etc.), scholarly (American studies, anthropology, art, classics, environmental studies, ethnic studies, film, gay and lesbian studies, history, Jewish studies, literary criticism, Slavic studies, etc.), and regional books about Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest (from the Press's website at http://www.wisc.edu/wisconsinpress/who-what.html)
