Brian Kogler has illustrated book for children and his cartoons have appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald and The Sun-Herald,(where his weekly comic strip 'Thin Ice' ran for six years) and magazines such as The Bulletin, Women's Weekly, and Dolly. T

he Australian Black and White Artists' Club has awarded Kogel eight Stanley Awards for Best Single-Panel Cartoon and Best Cartoon Strip.
