BiographyHistory

George Molnar was a member of The Sydney Push, a bohemian and anarchist movement that flourished in Sydney from the 1950s to the 1970s. As a student at the University of Sydney in the 1950s, Molnar was strongly influenced by John Anderson (q.v.). Molnar later lectured in philosophy at the same university.

This Molnar is not to be confused with George Molnar (1910-1998) (q.v.), who also came to Australia from Hungary and was a prominent cartoonist and a lecturer in architecture at the University of Sydney.
