BiographyHistory

Originally McBride Winston and Co; in August 1911 Conde Nast acquired financial interest hence the name change to McBride, Nast and Company. In 1928 McBride acquired Dodge Publishing Company. It claimed to be "general publishers" who were particularly "enthusiastic" about children's books.
