AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A man endowed with a great gift which he often prositutes by using it to cheat at card games, to identify women who need little or no seducing, and for other selfish ends. Over-confidence brings him within the reach of the law and he serves a jail sentence. With knowledge gained while serving in the Army Medical Corps and a stolen diploma, he is able to pose as a doctor. Not until the close of his life does he become what he could always have been - a great humanitarian.

Notes
